EXPERIENCES
Students participate in experiences that align with class curriculum. These experiences are generally off-site and include things like service learning, business tours, job site demonstrations, museums and other fun ways to learn about the world.

Overnight trips!
Students can choose to take part in environmentally-focused overnight trips. These include fall and spring trips to Osprey Wilds Environmental Learning Center, camping trips at Taylors Falls, Afton State Park, and Steger Wilderness Center (on the edge of the Boundary Waters in Ely, MN).

Students at Academic Arts High School have the awareness, or are increasing their awareness, of the relationship between the environment and human life.
